Our History
Golden State Keralites (GSK) was founded in 2010 by a small group of Kerala natives living in the San Francisco Bay Area. What began as informal gatherings to celebrate traditional festivals has grown into a vibrant community organization with hundreds of members.
Over the years, GSK has organized numerous cultural events, charity initiatives, and educational programs. Our annual Onam and Vishu celebrations have become landmark events in the Bay Area's cultural calendar, attracting participants from across California.
As we've grown, our focus has expanded beyond cultural preservation to include community service, professional networking, and youth development. Today, GSK stands as a testament to the spirit of unity and cultural pride that defines the Kerala community in California.
